Treatments For Anxiety Induced Dizziness - How to Stop Anxiety Dizziness

For the many people who struggle with anxiety on a daily basis, anxiety dizziness is a part of life. Suddenly feeling like the room is spinning or that you're falling can compound the frustrations of anxiety. Different people have different things that work to reduce their dizziness, but not everything will work for everyone. You have to find something that works to reduce your dizzy feelings. Here are a few things you can try to help stop dizziness that comes from anxiety.

Drinking plenty of water can help stop anxiety dizziness. Dehydration can cause you to feel dizzy, and when you're also feeling anxious, there's more of a chance that the dehydration will cause problems for you. It's recommended that the average, healthy person drink eight to ten eight-ounce glasses of water every day. If you drink considerably less, you're more at risk for dizziness.

Another trick that may help is to sit or lie down (you may need to do this slowly) and focus on a point that's five to nine feet away from you. Keep staring at this point, and you may be able to reduce your anxiety dizziness. Just be sure to stand up slowly after you've been sitting or lying down. You don't want to stand up too quickly and reverse the effects of your focus point!

Being aware of your diet and nutrition can also help combat anxiety dizziness. Vitamin B6, for example, helps reduce nervousness and increase balance. You should also make sure you're getting the foods you need to keep your blood sugars balanced, since low blood sugar can be another culprit in dizziness. If you start to feel dizzy and you haven't eaten in a while, have an apple or a handful of nuts. It may be all you need to get back on track.

Anxiety dizziness can be a serious problem for those who experience it. Dizziness is disorienting and can even be frightening. But a few simple tricks can help reduce or eliminate your dizziness, and you can get back to living a happy, balanced life.
